ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:
Potato Rs 24, Onion Rs 35, Tomato Rs 23, Ginger Rs 80, Garlic Rs 150, Garlic China Rs 145, Lemon Rs 220, Lady Finger Rs 45, Pumpkin Rs 45, Brinjal Rs 45, Peas Rs 115, Farsh Bean Rs 60, Tinda Walaiti Rs 55/66, Cucumber Rs 35, Capsicum Rs 45/35, Green Chilli Rs 45, Cauliflower Rs 65/45, Cabbage Rs 22, Bitter Gourd Rs 35, Spinach Rs 24/20, Raddish Rs 25/18, Turnip Rs 52, Maroo Rs 24, Yam Rs 90, Carrot Rs 32/24, Chicken Rs 182 and Egg per dozen Rs 70.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 155/120, Apple White, Rs 75/50, Apple Ambri Rs 95/60, Apple Irani Rs 155/120, Apple China Rs 220/195, Banana Pak Rs 110/70, Banana India, Rs 170/145, Pear China Rs 165/130, Garma Rs 130/100, Apricot Rs 100/90, Strawberry Rs 220/170, Melon Rs 45/25, Watermelon Rs 24/18, Sherbuza Rs 64/50, Lokat 125/80.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
