ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Thursday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:
Potato Rs.18, Onion Rs.46, Green Zucchini 42, Tomato Rs 30, Ginger Rs.95, Garlic Rs.130, Garlic (China) Rs.310, Lemon Rs.190, Lemon Rs.160, Lady Finger Rs.55, Pumpkin Rs.24, Brinjal Rs.24, Peas Rs.65, Farsh Bean Rs.45, Tanda Walaiti Rs.45, Cucumber Rs.20, Capsicum Rs.25/20, Green Chilli Rs.65, Cauliflower Rs. 55/30, Cabbage Rs.20, Bitter gourd Rs.35, Spinach Rs.16/12, Raddish Rs.22/18, Turnip Rs.35, Maroo Rs.20, Yam Rs.76, Carrot Rs.28/24, Chicken Rs.181 and Egg per dozen Rs. 72.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs.135/110, Apple Golden Rs.98/58, Apple White Rs.80/55, Banana Pak Rs.100/60, Banana Indian, Rs.170 /154, Pear China Rs.100/140, Grapes Irani Rs.165/140, Orange Kino normal Rs.124/100, Orange Kino Special Rs.175/135, Guava Rs.110/74, Apple China Rs.200/180, Strawberry Rs.170/120, Melon Rs 55/42, Melon Rs.48/40, Water Melon Rs 25/20, White Melon Rs 46/35 and Loquat Rs 88/55.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
