The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has launched an Urdu version of its official website, in a move to increase it accessibility among the local masses.
According to local media reports, the website in Urdu will be helpful for the stakeholders and general public as it will provide information related to the enforcement, advocacy and other activities in Urdu.
In addition, CCP is also working on automation of its merger filing system to facilitate its stakeholders. The upcoming system will increase the operation efficiency, making the procedure impartial and less prone to human error.
CCP said, “As a competition watchdog, CCP believes in the transparent sharing of information and keeping the general public abreast of all its developments via its website.”
More so, CCP is also in the process of translating the Competition Act, 2010 into Urdu, which will be accessible at the website soon.
Pakistan Supreme Court had previously announced, Urdu as the primary language for communication in almost every field in Pakistan, which has led many popular brands and companies to launch Urdu versions of their websites.
