imageKARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr.Ishrat ul Ebad Khan has said that the people of Pakistan and Turkey have deep rooted relationship and ties are being further cemented with the passage of time as it is based on sincerity and mutual respect.

This he said while talking with a 25-member delegation of Pak-Turk School at Governor House here on Monday.

Ebad said that Turkey has always taken lead to help its Pakistani brethren in case of any natural disaster or eventuality or any other sort of need.

Governor Sindh said that Turkish people bear immense love and affection for their Pakistani brothers which is proven by the response they give to any call for help. Their rescue, relief and rehabilitation teams always reach Pakistan first, he said.

Governor Sindh further said that Turkey has been a valuable contributor in spread of education and knowledge in the Province of Sindh through its schools and other educational institutions.

Pak-Turk schools through their outstanding standards have been instrumental in the success of Pakistani students in the world as they are not only taught but also trained to realize their dreams in their practical life, he observed.

He said that the province is facing various problems in primary and secondary education for which government is implementing many strategies with the help of private sector.

The enrollment of 2,300 students in six campuses of Pak Turk schools and provision of 40% scholarship to students is very commendable, he further added.
