NEW YORK: The US 30-year Treasury bond rose more than a point in early trading on Monday, outperforming the shorter maturities, which were also up on the day, as the market looked forward to more monetary easing from the Federal Reserve.
Thirty-year bonds rose 1-11/32, their yields falling to 3.25 percent from 3.31 percent on Friday.
