MULTAN: Local police arrested two kiln owners on the charge of hiring children for labour in violation of Child Labour Ordinance 2016,police said here.
According to police sources, their teams raided different bricks kilns and found kiln owner Subedar Khan and Ghulam Haider taking labour from a teenager Muhammad Imran s/o Muhammad Ramzan and Khizar Hayyat s/o Muhammad Hanif respectively.
The accused were arrested on the spot and separate FIRs were registered against them with police station Budhla Sant under sections 5/6 of Child Labour Ordinance 2016,police said.
Similarly, Cantt police arrested two accused including Muhammad Awais and Tanvir for violating amplifier act. Cases were registered against them.
