KARACHI: The Election Commissioner of Pakistan has postponed the elections for indirect seats of local councils which were scheduled on February 8 and 14, in Sindh.
The notification issued by the ECP on Thursday said that the polls are postponed as the matter being subjudice.
The postponement is announced on the poll which were scheduled to be held on February 8, for the indirect seats of district councils, municipal corporations, district municipal corporations and metropolitan corporation.
The poll which were scheduled to be held on February 14, for indirect seats of union councils, union committees, town committee and municipal committees in Sindh province has also been postponed.
