KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs429 to close at Rs52,457 per 10 grams in the local market Monday, as its international price soared to $ 1,835 an ounce, market sources said.
According to the Karachi Saraf Association officials, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs500 at Rs61,200.
Silver closed higher at Rs1,140 per 10 grams.
