imageLargest mobile carrier, China Mobile has revealed that Apple plans to introduce an iPhone in C series. C series was last seen in 2013 when Apple launched 5C alongside 5S.

However, out of many rumors floating, the name of new iPhone is bit contradictory, with the new phone being called 7C by some and 6C by others. Taking the rumors further it is being speculated that the new phone will have screen length same as iPhone 5 at 4 inch, but its performance will be like that of 2014 iPhone 6. Furthermore the price of new phone is stated to be about $500, lower than the usual iPhones at $650.

In a presentation, China Mobile alleges that even though they don’t know the name of phone, they know that its release will be in April. Apple Insider reported the words ‘Apple’ and ‘April’ in its text box.

Business Insider reported that the last ‘C’ generation iPhone, called the iPhone 5C, was released in September 2013 at the same time as the iPhone 5S. A new April release would be a totally new time frame for Apple to release a new iPhone. Apple usually launches new iPhones in September.

Hopefully, whatever the name, Apple is not making ‘April Fool’ of us.
