KARACHI: Gold plunged by Rs1,128 to close at Rs52,114 per 10 grams in the local market Wednesday, as its international price also slipped to $1,842 an ounce, market sources said.
According to the Karachi Saraf Association officials, tola (11.664 grams) price declined by Rs1,200 to Rs60,800.
Silver closed lower at Rs1,140 per 10 grams.
