KARACHI: Women Development Department, Sindh has taken practical steps for protection of basic rights of women.
This was stated by Sindh Minister for Women Development Ms. Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto while talking to a delegation of PPP Women Wing here, said a statement.
She said efforts are also being made for the economic empowerment of the women folk in the province.
Tauqeer Fatima said participation of women in development process is being ensured in the light of vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
She said the government is pursuing policy of reconciliation and moving ahead alongwith all political parties to strengthen democracy.
