KARACHI: The ban on pillion has again been made effective after the end of Eidul-Fitr holidays.
"The ban lifted before Eid to facilitate general public will remain effective after midnight on Sunday," a spokesman of the Home Department here said.
The ban was imposed by the Home Department after growing incidents of lawlessness and target killings.
"Ban will be lifted in the light of the intelligence report about law and order situation in the city", the spokesman added.
The elderly, women, children and fraternity of journalists involved in professional duties will remain exempted from the ban after proper verification.
