SUKKUR: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Sukkur, Dr.Waheed Asghar Bhutti has stressed upon shopkeepers and godown owners to keep their premises clean and not to dump discarded articles on roofs of buildings to avoid dengue breeding as well as save themselves from the dengue virus.
He stated this while talking to shopkeepers during the visit of auto parts market in Sokha Talab, on Saturday.
He said that market associations can play an effective role in this regard.
On the occasion, ADC Sukkur distributed pamphlets among the shopkeepers pertaining to preventive measures against dengue.
He asked questions from the shopkeepers and vendors regarding the dengue mosquito to assess their awareness about the virus.
He asked the people to keep their houses, roofs of shops, godowns and factories clean and not to accumulate water in open pots for ensuring elimination of dengue mosquitoes.
