DHAKA: Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves rose to $10.93 billion at the end of August from $10.38 billion in July, the central bank said on Sunday.
But the reserves are likely to fall again because of scheduled bi-monthly import payments to Asian Clearing Union, a senior central bank official said.
The central bank projection shows foreign exchange reserves fell to $10.85 billion in the fiscal year through June 2012 from $10.91 billion the previous year.
