Gold jumps to Rs52,114 per 10 grams

KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs1,543 to close at Rs52,114 per 10 grams in the local market Saturday, as its international price also soared to $ 1,828 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also surged by Rs1,800 to Rs60,800.

He said gold has been climbing again on hectic buying in the international market.

Silver closed higher at Rs1,182.85 per 10 grams.
