KARACHI: Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Ltd has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs1.714 billion for the half year ending June 30, 2011.
According to financial results sent to KSE, the pre- tax profit of the bank has increased to Rs2696 billion compared to Rs2.100 billion in the corresponding period last year.
The earning per share also improved to Rs 0.44 during the period under review against Rs0.35 in June, 2010.
