KARACHI: Four alleged gangsters involved in Lyari gang war have been arrested by North Nazimabad Police here Tuesday during snap checking.
Addressing a press conference here, the SSP Central, Capt. (Retd) Asim said that the police also recovered weapons from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Shahnawaz, Rafiq Baloch, Naeem Jan and autorickshaw driver Mustafa.
During initial investigation, they confessed to have kidnapped, tortured and killed at least 13 men and most of them were their own gang members, the SSP said.
They also admitted to their involvement in hand grenade attacks and kidnapping for ransom.
More disclosures are expected, he maintained.
