ATTOCK: At least three people including a father and his real son will be hanged in District Jail Attock on Wednesday (July 29).
The superintendent Attock jail said that Muhammad Usman and his real son Aftab will be hanged to death as both father and son were involved in a double murder case committed in 1998 at the jurisdiction of Injra police station.
It is worth mentioning here that the relatives of Muhammad Usman and his son Aftab had approached concerned authorities for cancellation of their death sentence on the ground that both prisoners were mentally unfit.
The authorities considering their request had constituted a Medical Board consisting of Doctor Ejaz, Doctor Muhammad Ali and Doctor Riaz to carry out medical check up of both the prisoners. The medical board examined both the prisoners and declared them mentally and physically fit.
Meanwhile another prisoner Muhammad Safdar resident of Khushab will also be hanged in the district jail Attock on same day as he had killed a man in 2003.
