LSE gains 39.12 points

imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 39.12 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6218.15 points and closed at 6257.27 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.518 million shares to close against previous turnover of 952,200 shares, showing an upward move of 1.566 million shares. While, out of the total 85 active scrips 26 moved up, 11 shed values and 48 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Highnoon Laboratories Limited, General Tyre and Rubber Company and Cherat Cement Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.71, Rs 5.80 and Rs 3.96 respectively.

Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and ZIL Limited (Zulfiqar) lost their per share value by Rs 16.50, Rs 2.75 and Re 1.00 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.049 million shares, NIB Bank Limited with 391.500 shares and Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 264,500 shares.
