CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures fell 2.5 percent on Thursday as traders locked in profits amid concerns about global economic weakness and a firming dollar.
The worries about the economy sparked heavy selling in US stock markets and a sharp drop in crude oil prices, which weighed on corn and soybean futures too.
