KARACHI: Former Pakistan peoples’ Party (PPP) lawmaker from Lyari, Waja Karim Dad and his friend Sadruddin were laid to rest after funeral prayers in Kharadar area here on Thursday.

Waja Karim Dad was shot dead at a restaurant for Iftar on Wednesday when unknown gunmen opened fire on him killing four and injuring three others.
President People's Party Karachi Division Najmi Alam, Sindh chief minister's Advisor Waqar Mehdi, Qadir Patel MNA, a large number of PPP activists and members of the Ismaili community attended the funeral.
PPP leader Najmi Alam urged for action against the perpetrators of terror incidents without any ethnic discrimination. He demanded arrest of the killers of Waja Karim Dad.
