LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here on Tuesday witnessed mixed trend and slightly up by 2.40 point, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5444.30 points and closed at 5446.70 points.
The market's overall situation corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 833,300 shares to close against previous turnover of 440,300 shares, showing an upward move of 393,000 shares. While, out of the total 72 active scrips 16 moved up, 10 shed values and 46 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Shifa International Hospital Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited and Pak Elektron Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 5.45, Rs 3.00 and Rs 2.47 respectively.
United Bank Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs 7.05, Rs 3.07 and Rs 2.40 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Power Cement Limited with 225,000 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 222,000 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 93,000 shares.
