ISLAMABAD: A 7-member international business delegation led by Ambassador, Javed Malik, Prime Minister's Special Envoy, called on Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here Monday.
A statement issued here Monday said that members of the delegation apprised the minister that encouraged by the remarkable economic stability that Pakistan had achieved they were currently visiting Pakistan to explore investment opportunities here.
The Minister welcomed the delegation and give them a brief overview of the state of national economy, particularly the inflow of foreign investment.
He also briefed them about the present government's investment policy and said that government offered a very liberal investment regime which the foreign investors could avail for investment in various sectors.
He assured them of all possible support concerning their proposed investment.
The delegation thanked the Minister for providing them valuable information on investment opportunities and expressed the resolve to keep continued engagement for firming up their investment plan.
