ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday condemned the incident of firing in Karachi in which DSP, Zulfiqar Zaidi lost his life.
He directed Sindh government to beef up security in the provincial capital to avoid such instances, said a press release issued here.
Seeking report into the incident, the Prime Minister emphasized on the need for taking steps for boosting the morale of police force as it had a key role in maintaining law and order. He reiterated that government was fully committed to restoring peace and stability in Karachi so that its citizens could lead their lives in tranquility.
