LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 355.39 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4611.06 points and closed at 4966.45 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.006 millionshares to close against previous turnover of 1.339 million shares, showing an upward move of 667,700 shares. While, out of the total 117 active scrips 37 moved up, 2 shed values and 78 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Treet Corporation Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited and Shell Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.76, Rs 4.65 and Rs 4.05, respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited and Fecto Cement Limited lost their per share value by Rs 10.99 and Re 0.51 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.275 million shares, Dewan Salman Fibre Limited with 170,000 shares and K-Electric Limited with 145,500 shares.
