Rain lashes Peshawar, twin cities

isl_rainISLAMABAD: Heavy showers battered Peshawar and the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in the wee hours of Friday.

In Peshawar, the rain started during Sehr and continued till morning. White clouds were seen hovering over the city after the rain. However, some city areas, including University Road, received just drizzle and cold breeze.

The capital city of Islamabad and Rawalpindi also received mild rainfall.
