POONCH: The Cross-LoC businessmen today traded goods worth over Rs 1.27 crores through 17 trucks between Jammu and Kashmir and Azad Kashmir (AJK) along LoC at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch, officials said.
As many as eight trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to AJK, they said, adding, these trucks carried bags of Coconut, Red Chilli and tamarind worth Rs 36,94,360.
From AJK, nine trucks carrying bags of Almond, dry grapes, dates, and Herbs crossed to this side and these were worth Rs 90,44,225.
The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1230 hrs and 1530 hrs to 1800 hrs respectively, they said.
