tiger-airwaysSYDNEY: Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority will make an announcment on the grounding of Singapore budget carrier Tiger Airways' Australian operations at 0400 GMT on Wednesday, a spokesman said.

A report in the Sydney Morning Herald said the authority would lift the ban ahead of Thursday's Federal court hearing. The airline has been grounded for breaches of safety standards.
