STOCKHOLM: 24MAS, a leader in mobile advertising and application distribution, has acquired THQ Inc.'s wireless operations and its global carrier business from parent company THQ Inc. By continuing to provide both THQ and third-party branded content through contracts with all major carrier groups worldwide, 24MAS has expanded its reach to include over 80 countries, spanning every major continent and market, to become one of the world's largest carrier distribution networks for wireless applications and services.

The acquisition of THQ Wireless' operations comes on the heels of 24MAS announcing ad-funded application campaigns with brands such as Samsung, Olay and Malaysia Airlines.
