Pakistan vs. India is the final before the final match on Sunday February 15 which has put burden on both the teams. India has won all five matches played between the arch rival Pakistan in previous World Cups. But according to the Moin Khan this is the right time for Pakistan to break the record and set another history.
While talking to NDTV Moin Khan said, 'Whenever we played India in World Cups they played well and deserved to win those games. But there is another opportunity for this new team. They can be the team that breaks that record. They could be the ones that make history'.
Moin Khan was part of 92’s World Cup which Pakistan has won in Australia under Imran Khan’s captaincy. Moin khan is now an active member of Pakistan selection committee.
While giving interview to Indian media Moin Khan sounded confident about the Pakistan’s fortune and said, 'I've already conveyed my ideas to the team. The important thing to remember is that you have to play hard cricket in Australia. If you are not ready for a big challenge then you can't compete here. Not only physically, mentally too one needs to be very fit. If this Pakistan team can cope up with the pressure and the mental challenge, then I'm confident they can beat India'.
