CHICAGO: Corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade turned higher late on Friday, rallying from early declines as US equity markets climbed in volatile trade, brokers said.
The CBOT December corn contract also gained against the September on the first day of the "Goldman roll," the five-day period in which large commodity funds roll their long September positions forward into December.
As of 1:02 p.m. CDT (1802 GMT), CBOT December corn was up 4 cents at $7.05-1/2 per bushel.
