LAHORE: Two children were killed and another sustained injuries as a tractor trolley crashed into a house here at Malipura Shafiqabad on Sunday.
Police said that two children Sher Ali (8), Hassan (1) died on the spot whereas another child Fahad received severe injuries as a speeding tractor trolley smashed into house after losing control. Later, the relatives of the deceased and local people alongwith bodies of minors staged a protest at Bund Road which also caused traffic mess.
The protestors dispersed when the police and city district administration assured them for immediate arrest of the driver.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has ordered arrest of the driver and expressed grief over the demise of the innocent children.
