LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that recent record reduction in prices of petroleum products by the federal government was a commendable decision.
In a handout issued here on Saturday, he said that substantial decrease in the prices of petroleum prod
ucts was an excellent gift of the PML-N government for the people. He said that continuous decrease in the prices of petroleum products was a clear proof of people-friendly policies of the government.
The chief minister vowed that no effort will be spared for providing benefit of decrease in the prices of petroleum products to the masses.
He said that the prices of essential items and transport fares will be reduced in proportionate to the decrease in the price of petroleum products.
