dilmarBRASILIA: Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff vowed on Tuesday to protect domestic industry without resorting to illegal protectionism as she unveiled a raft of tax breaks and new financing for manufacturers.

Rousseff also said the government remains committed to controlling inflation, which has risen above the official target range this year.
