dr-mirza-ikhtiar-baigISLAMABAD: Prominent Economist, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig said that Pakistan will have to focus on regional trade to make economic progress.

Talking to a private news channel on Saturday, he said that bilateral trade between Pakistan and India will be beneficial for both the countries and the situation will be win-win for two sides.

He said Pakistan is ready to give MFN status to India, but New Delhi should remove tariff barriers, which are main hurdle in the way of Pakistani exports.

Referring to Pak India Foreign Ministers' level talks in New Delhi, he appreciated the agreement of both the countries regarding enhancing bilateral trade.
