LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 112.45 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6287.15 points and closed at 6399.60 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.793 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.104 million shares, showing a downward move of 310,900 shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips 26 moved up, 16 shed values and 62 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were ICI Pakistan Limited, Mari Petroleum Company and Engro Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 10.00, Rs 9.96 and Rs 7.58 respectively.
Kohat Cement Company Limited, Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 6.00, Rs 3.17 and Rs 1.55 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 428,500 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 200,000 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 159,500 shares.
