LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 55.59 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6003.08 points and closed at 6058.67 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.371 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.461 million shares, showing an upward move of 909,240 shares. While, out of the total 132 active scrips 28 moved up, 39 shed values and 65 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Colgate Palmolive Pakistan Limited, Muslim Commercial Bank Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 20.79, Rs 14.00 and Rs 2.39 respectively.
Hinopak Motors Limited, Murree Brewery Company and Mari Petroleum Company were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 30.00, Rs 26.88 and Rs 18.00 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.907 million shares, Silkbank Limited (Saudi) with 479,500 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 226,000 shares.
