Pakistan’s prestigious Lux Style Awards celebrates the Pakistan’s emerging talent every year in an extravagant event. This year’s Lux Style Award (LSA) was held in Karachi Movenpick Hotel on Thursday December 4.
Winners in 27 categories were from the disciplines of Fashion, Film, TV and Music for the 13th edition of the prestigious Lux Style Awards. The nominees for each category were previously announced in August 2014.
Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan who has just made his big Bollywood debut with ‘Khoobsurat’ is on a winning spree. He has been receiving many rewards for his spectacular performance in drama series ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ and ‘Khoobsurat’. Recently at the star studded event, Fawad Khan along with his co-actor Sanam Saeed has won ‘Best Actor’ award for their performance in ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’.
The eight Television categories were evenly distributed across all channels. Sanam Saeed as ‘Best Actress’ and Fawad Khan as ‘Best Actor’ won for Hum TV’s ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ while Best serial in the Satellite segment went to A&B Productions ‘Daagh’ on ARY Digital, local media reported.
While talking to media Sanam Saeed said, “I’m grateful that the work that I did two years ago, [Zindagi Gulzar Hai] is still being acknowledged”. On the other hand Fawad Khan took to Twitter to thank his fans. He said, “So happy to have won Best Actor at LSA2014 for ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’. It’s been an amazing year! Thanks, everyone!”.
Other prominent winners of LSA 2014 were Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for ‘Best Song of the Year’, Nabila for ‘Best Hair and Make-up Artist’, Aminah Sheikh for ‘Best Actress Film’, Abbas Jafri for ‘Best Male Model of the Year’ and Cybil Chowdhry for ‘Best Female Model of the Year’.
