ISE-10 index witnessed bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bearish trend on Monday as the ISE-10 index was down by 81.33 points and closed at 3,849.97 points.

Total 253,000 shares were traded, up by 56,151 shares than the previous day's 196,849 shares.

Out of 151 companies, share prices of 99 recorded increase and of 52 decreased.

The share price of Abbot Laboratories increased by Rs. 40.94 and Muree Brewery by Rs 54.

Maple Leaf Cement, Bank of Punjab and Pakistan Iinternational Airlines were top trading companies with 105,000, 75,000 and 65,000 shares respectively.
