QUETTA: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan Saleem Jadoon, who was injured in an attack on Patail Road on Wednesday afternoon, succumbed to injuries in Combined Military Hospital here in the evening.
"Unknown gunmen riding a bike opened fire on Saleem Jadoon, injuring him and fled," police said. The victim was rushed to Civil Hospital and later shifted to Combined Military Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
According to doctors, Jadoon received two bullets, one on his head and another at his chest. He visited the party office on Patail Road when he was attacked. The cause behind the attack could not be ascertained.
