LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed mix trend by gaining 0.74 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5325.84 points and closed at 5326.58 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.977 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.003 million shares, showing an upward move of 973,500 shares. While, out of the total 94 active scrips 12 moved up, 22 shed values and 60 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited, Treet Corporation Limited and Muslim Commercial Bank Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 6.50, Rs. 2.26 and Rs. 1.81 respectively.
Engro Fertilizers Limited, Atlas Battery Limited and Hascol Petroleum Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs. 2.95, Rs. 2.48 and Rs. 2.00 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 786,000 shares, Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 426,500 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 261,000 shares.
