LONDON : European stock markets closed higher on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top shares rising 0.

european-stockLONDON: European stock markets closed higher on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top shares rising 0.65 percent to 5,789.99 points.

In Frankfurt, the DAX gained 1.19 percent to 7,192.67 points while in Paris the CAC 40 rose 1.21 percent to 3,694.95 points.
