Actor-producer Saif Ali Khan and Homi Adajania is one actor-director in Bollywood. Now, if all goes well, the two will once more come together for a period film.
Adajania made his directorial debut with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Being Cyrus’, an off-beat English language psychological drama, a critically acclaimed film. Saif Ali Khan and director Homi Adajania teamed up to deliver a box-office hit ‘Cocktail’, which was produced by Saif Ali Khan only.
A source confirmed that Homi’s next will be once again with Saif Ali Khan. It will be a period drama and will be made under the banner of the Khan’s Illuminati Films. It is expected to go on floor by the end of this year. Right now, Saif and Homi are trying to round up the details of the film. Also, the source added, Saif is occupied with promotion of ‘Happy Ending’ and other projects. Saif also has his home production ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ and ‘Happy Ending’. Khan has confirmed the developments saying that an announcement will be made when everything has been sorted out.
“I think it's time for me to reinvent. I took it easy and experimented something new. But now I can feel the hunger again. I think ‘Parineeta’ was beautiful. Now I am thinking of making a ‘Rabindranath Tagore's story’, I am a good actor and I think I can do period well,” the actor said.
