Girls secure top positions in SSC Part II Annual Examination 2011
KARACHI: Girls secured all the top positions in the SSC Part-II Annual Examination 2011 of the General Group for regular and private candidates.
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced result on Tuesday.
Ramsha Majeed of PECHS Girls School Anwar Adil Road remained first with a total of 772 marks out of the maximum 850.
The second position was shared by Fatima Rashid of PECHS Girls School and Aqsa Yasin of Gulistan Shah Abdul Latif Girls Secondary School SMCH Karachi with 762 marks each.
Third position went to Arbia Humayun also of the PECHS Girls School. She obtained 753 marks.
According to statistics, 29,163 candidates appeared in the examination and of these 20,171 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 69.17.
A ceremony was also organized at the BSEK office on Tuesday to honour the position holders.
The Chairman of the BSEK, Anzar Hussain Zaidi and Controller of Examinations, Ms. Rafia Mallah, felicitated the position holders and their parents.
