LONDON: European stock markets rose in opening deals on Tuesday, rallying gently after recent sharp losses on the back of the eurozone debt crisis, dealers said.
London's FTSE 100 index of leading companies advanced 0.37 percent to 5,773.93 points, Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 0.57 percent to 7,148.48 points and in Paris the CAC 40 climbed 0.55 percent to 3,671.13.
