LONDON: Brent crude and US crude futures extended gains to rise over $1 on Tuesday, pushed higher by weakness in the dollar and on expectations that oil stocks in the US fell for a seventh week.
By 0727 GMT, Brent crude was up 92 cents at $116.96, having hit the day's high of $117.16. US crude Was up 91 cents at $96.89 having peaked at $96.93.
