rehman-malikKARACHI: Federal Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik reviewed measures to maintain law and order during the election for constituencies LA-30 and LA-36 of Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) at Sindh Chief Minister House here on Monday.

Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Hussain Wasan, IG Sindh Police, Wajid Ali Durrani, Acting DG Sindh Rangers, Brig. Zafar Iqbal, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Waseem Ahmed, Additional IG Police Karachi, Saud Mirza and Provincial Election Commissioner, Sonu Khan Baloch attended the meeting, said a statement.

The meeting reviewed steps to maintain law and order during election and decided to make ample security arrangements in this regard.

The meeting directed the chiefs of police and rangers to present their reports about the security arrangements for the election.

It also decided that another meeting would also be held on July 19 to discuss security arrangements for election to AJK seats LA-30 and LA-36.
