ISLAMABAD: Senior leader PML-N Siddique Al-Farooq has said that Imran Khan is trying to drag the country to the politics of 1970s.
Talking to Radio Pakistan he said, Imran is working on some foreign agenda, if he wants to serve the nation, he should come to the parliament and discuss the reforms there.
He said the PII led goverment in Khyber Pukhtankhwa had not completed development projects in the province and even did not spend the funds the provincial government had received from the federal government.
He said Imran Khan was brought as per London Plan to divert attention from the current problems being faced by the country adding he said IDPs were tortured instead of being given ration.
"On one hand, his members have submitted resignations, while on the other hand, they are not appearing before the speaker to verify their resignations. His real face will be exposed in front of people soon, he asserted.
"Imran Khan is a victim of political isolation after failure of the sit-ins", he said.
Siddique said the performance of the KPK provincial government is nowhere to be seen. Instead of solving the problems of IDPs, his government beat them during ration distribution.
He said IDPs have also been arrested and put into jails, without considering their sacrifices for the country.
"The Chief Minister regularly attends the sit-in of Imran Khan rather than focusing on problems of the masses. We will raise this issue in tomorrow's session in the provincial assembly, he concluded.
