FBR extends date for taxes payment for Karachi residents

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has extended date for payment of taxes, duty and filing of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Duty (FED) returns upto July 22 for the period June 2011, for persons registered in LTU/RTOs, Karachi.

According to a statement issued by the FBR here on Monday, the decision has been taken to facilitate the tax payers who could not pay taxes or file sales tax and FED returns due to law and order situation in Karachi.
