Ishrat-ul-Ebad to resume office of Sindh Governor

ishratul-ibadKARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has asked Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan to resume the office of Sindh Governor as desired by President Asif Ali Zardari.

According to a statement issued by MQM here on Monday, this development took place following telephonic conversation between President Asif Ali Zardari and MQM Chief Altaf Hussain.

It said Altaf Hussain has asked Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan to work in harmony with the federal and provincial governments under the guidance of the President.

The Sindh Governor should ensure his effective contribution towards stability in the province of Sindh and play his role to act as a bridge to build relationship, it added.
